Changzhou Bluedot Vehicle Technology Co. Ltd. Manufactures the motor kits offered here. They have imprinted the Integrated e-trikes logo on these motor housings and more importantly printed the specification 36V, 500W or 48V,750W on them. Both of these are considered class 2 e-bikes and are legal to operate on many bicycle trails throughout the country. Please check the regulations in your area. These hand-built motors are good quality and provide excellent reliability and durability. The rims are hand laced and run very true. These are for regular skinny tire trikes which typically have a 100mm dropout, which is the distance between the forks where the axle sits. As a general rule, geared motors have more torque and are good for hill climbing while gearless motors are designed to operate at high speed.
